I went to sleep in the game, and when I woke up I saw my village very briefly and then it blurred and disappeared. How do I get back to it? Is it lost forever? I've been looking every way I know how, but cannot find my village which is large and took many days to create. Please help!

Could you perhaps post a screenshot? I'm not entirely sure what you mean when you say your village is missing.

Where was this? What server? Local game? or Online server?

Often the site will update. When that happens IF... and IF... its a massive update from minecraft.net it will roll back the system about 20 mins. Although it IS a known syncing issue, it is NOT very common to happen.

If its a server, its likely the particular server updated, OR a mod has deleted it by user. The sleep function from minecraft.net is a save feature.

We also could be discussing a potential mod error.
