Developping new mod : your player profile ?

Hello guys,

I'm new here, and not very used to forums. I hope this is the right section...
Anyway, me and a friend of mine are willing to develop a new minecraft mod, but before we do it, we'd like to know a little bit more about thinks players really like in minecraft.

On our side, we really love creative mode, but how many of you do ?
