Video Challenge - Christmas o Christmas

Well I guess you have read all about what these video challenges are all about!

Or else read the "minecraftnews trailer" post and see what will happen to your video.

So we are getting really close to Christmas! And ofc we will celebrate this somehow!

And we want a Christmas video to advertise this big moment! So what you need to do is the following:

*A video with a Christmas theme

*Our logo need to be included, feel free to change the appearance of the logo to something more Christmas like.

*It needs to be hosted on youtube so we can include it to our channel and an easy description to our site.

*It need to include that we are gifting 2 Mincraft accounts at the 22 december to members.

*feel free to experiment, you will have access to our SMP server if you need to be creative.

Sounds great :) hehe my idea for this is like, a slow recording of the logo for intro, covered by snow, and the sant skin comes down in he's sledge, having a hole texture based only on Christmas and everything would get this warm and fuzzy feeling :) haha well it would be a start ? Anyhow I do not have time to be a part of the movie making, to learn professional movie making and then do the movie sounds very tight in my time schedule!

@dmitchell94 - You have a valid minecraft account? you can login to our SMP server and make some recording if you like, or rebuild it? or just use the pic in somehow, well you can feel free to go on our SMP server , the logo is live there, but I would suggest you rebuild it Christmas stile? :)

yea my plan is to rebuild but i may go to the SMP to get measurments and to look at it some more. but what is the ip for the smp?

You will find everything about the server on the front page, in the left menu, but to get on the server you need to be on white list, follow instructions in the rules and follow instructions to get on white list :)

Forum Posters I Need Your Help, i've decided to scrap my old plan for the christmas video as i gained a huge inspiration today. I need Any and All ideas you can give me of things that go with christmas, candy canes, pine trees, etc. I need to finish it soon so please give me any ideas no matter what they are as i will need many and quickly. odd there should be and it not displaying here correctly there should be x-mas music let me take a look and see about fixing it!

EDIT: ok the sound file with it was brocken i have added a new sound file so there should be sound now.

well, right now no one else is making a video, i wanted to make one but im really busy with other stuff, hehe, and if i made a vid i would like to learn sony vegas first (i know windows movie maker though, but i rather learn sony vegas, hehe), and the manual is about 400 pages long xD also your server is very nice, so you got a good chance

yea im working on learning more software for movie making web design and game design. i would rather win by success then win by being the only person but o well. well hopefully someone else enters and hopefully i can learn to do more so that im better off for future videos

hehe ;) Well , we will see if I have the time! this is just not turning out really like I wanted it to, guess we need some more members to get a competition like this going, we have a couple of movie makers, but not *many* doing videos, so we will take a new push next year or something like that, we will see what happen!

I made myself a Christmas greeting, I had so small amount of time to do it and I had to "learn by doing" so I can't say this is my best work! But anyhow, I made something and learned some Adobe after effects on the way! So don't take the video to serious!
